EXPANSION AND REHABILITATION OF THE HEATING NETWORK

The project for the expansion and rehabilitation of the heating network is one of the most important projects implemented by POE “Termokos” J.S.C. in recent years.

Within this project, 246 residential buildings with 3,192 new consumers, covering a residential area of 793,124 m², have been connected to the heating network.

The expansion of the heating network has included 134 new residential buildings in the “Mati 1” neighborhood, 36 residential buildings in the “Arbëria” neighborhood, and 63 residential buildings in the “Qendër” neighborhood, specifically near the City Park.

At the same time, there was also densification of the heating network for 86 residential buildings with 1,625 new consumers, covering a heating surface of 101,326 m², distributed across different neighborhoods of the capital such as: “Ulpiana”-23 buildings, “Dardania”-13 buildings, “Qyteza Pejton”-9 buildings, “Qendra”- 40 buildings and “Bregu i Diellit”- 1 building.

Meanwhile, within the framework of this project, 325 heating substations and 4 km of the heating network routes have also been rehabilitated.

The project is co-financed by the Federal Republic of Germany and the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg through the German Development Bank (KfW) and by POE “Termokos”.
