Representatives from POE “Termokos” j.s.c, along with officials from the Municipality of Prishtina, the Ministry of Finance, Labour and Transfers, the Ministry of Economy, the European Union (EU) and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EIB), attended the presentation of the Financial and Economic Analysis for the Prishtina District Heating Expansion Project, an initiative that is part of the Economic Resilience Initiative – Infrastructure Technical Assistance Project.
The Economic Financial Analysis, along with the Master Plan, the Decarbonization Plan, and the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA), are crucial documents that enable the continuation of the appraisal mission by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EIB).
This project is more than an investment in infrastructure; it is an investment in the long-term sustainability of Prishtina’s energy system. It will improve the quality of life for citizens, minimize environmental impacts, and contribute to achieving economic and social development goals.
