Today, POE “Termokos” JSC will conclude the heating supply for the 2024/2025 heating season.
The decision to conclude the 2024/2025 heating season fully complies with the ERO Regulation on general conditions of energy supply and is based on both current climate conditions and meteorologists’ forecasts for the coming days.
This is yet another of the most successful seasons, during which sufficient and quality heating was provided over 181 days to more than 25,000 consumers connected to the heating network.
Throughout the 2024/2025 heating season, a total of 362,520 MWh of thermal energy was produced, or 10% more than the previous season, during which 329,617 MWh of energy was extracted from KEC. Additionally, 307 GWh of thermal energy was delivered – an 11% rise in energy delivery compared to the previous season.
The heating network has also been expanded to 33 residential buildings (including 1 school building and 2 business buildings), covering 854 residential units with a total area of 72,630.94 m².
During the 2024/2025 heating season, a new billing method based on consumption was implemented for the first time, and over 12,000 consumers equipped with metering devices were billed based on their usage.
POE “Termokos” will continue its commitment to modernizing its services and further expanding the heating network to reach more citizens of Prishtina.
