The Chief Executive Officer of POE “Termokos” JSC, Mr. Fisnik Osmani, hosted a meeting today with Mr. Nuno Queirós, Permanent Representative of the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) in Kosovo.
The visit highlighted potential UNDP support for Termoko’s efforts to enhance energy efficiency, digitalize services, reduce carbon emissions, promote renewable energy sources, and improve accountability to customers in Prishtina.
The parties emphasized the importance of sustainable partnership to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), with a particular focus on affordable and clean energy, climate action, and the sustainable development of cities.
Chief Executive Osmani expressed gratitude to UNDP for its continued support and reaffirmed “Termokos’s” commitment to becoming one of the key actors in Kosovo’s green economy. He highlighted that, with partners like UNDP, the enterprise is advancing toward its vision of a cleaner, more efficient, and sustainable heating system for the citizens of Prishtina. In response, Mr. Queirós, commended “Termokos’s” efforts in modernizing the heating system and digitalizing services. He also pledged continued support for projects that contribute to Kosovo’s green agenda and enhance the well-being of its citizens.
This visit represents an important step towards strategic cooperation between UNDP and “Termokos”, in building a more sustainable future for all.
