A Detailed Briefing on the Whistleblowing Mechanism was held

At the premises of POE “Termokos” JSC, an information session was organized focusing on the whistleblowing mechanism, in accordance with the legal obligations set forth in Regulation (Qrk)- No. 03/2021 on determining the procedure for receiving and handling the whistleblowing cases.

The whistleblower officer, Mr. Afrim Ismaili, through a structured presentation, informed the enterprise officials on key aspects of the whistleblowing process. His presentation included guidance on conducting administrative investigation, the protection of individuals reporting in the public interest, employers’ obligations to safeguard whistleblowers from harmful actions, and their rights to judicial protection.

During the presentation, Mr. Ismaili highlighted key provisions of Law No. 06/L -085 on the protection of whistleblowers, offering detailed explanations on several topics. These included the definition of a whistleblower – namely who qualifies as a whistleblower, the content and the submission process of whistleblower reports, types of whistleblowers, their rights and protections, as well as the employers’ obligations, etc.

The enterprise’s officials showed great interest in the presentation, actively engaging by asking questions and receiving thorough answers to all issues raised.
